Eriodictyol and umbelliferone inhibited the expressions of ACE2 and TMPRSS2 in lung epithelial cells. Beas 2B cell lines were treated with A. argyi, eriodictyol, and umbelliferone at the indicated concentrations for 2 days. The cell lysates and total RNA harvested from Beas 2B cells were subjected to RT-qPCR A-D and Western blot analysis E–G analyses to examine the effects of tested compounds on the mRNA and protein levels of ACE2 and TMPRSS2, respectively.
