Flavivirus prMs interact with MDA5 and/or MAVS. A–D EV or flavivirus prM plasmids together with RIG-I (A), MDA5 (B), MAVS (C) and TBK1 (D) were co-transfected into HEK293T cells. After 30 h, cells were harvested for immunoprecipitant analysis by immunoblot using the indicated antibodies. E–G Myc-MAVS, HA-MDA5 together with EV or ZIKV-prM (E), JEV-prM (F), and DENV2-prM (G) were co-transfected into HEK293T cells. After 30 h, cells were harvested for immunoprecipitant analysis by immunoblot using the indicated antibodies. The relative band intensity (*/#) of co-immunoprecipitated MAVS in (E–G) was measured using ImageJ software
