The role of VCAN in HG-HUVEC-Exos-induced mitochondrial dysfunction. HUVECs were transfected with negative control siRNA (con-siRNA) or VCAN siRNA (VCAN-siRNA) for 6 h and then exposed to HG condition for 48 h. After that, exosomes were isolated and co-cultured with VSMC for 48 h. Mitochondrial membrane potential was detected by JC-1staining.
