The effect of pinocembrin on the viability and growth of Y-79 cells. (A) The chemical structure of pinocembrin. (B) Cultured cells were treated with or without pinocembrin under various concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 μM) for 24 h. Thereafter, cell viability was determined by MTT assay. (C) The cells were fixed and stained with PI, and the cell cycle distribution was then analyzed by flow cytometry (FACS). (D) Cells were treated with or without of drugs (10 ng/ml TGF-β1 and 5 μM pinocembrin) for 24 h and the cell viability was determined by MTT assay.
