Lack of RNH1/RNH201 perturbs genome stability during meiosis.

(A) Disrupting RNH1 and RNH201 impaired meiotic progression. The percentage of nuclei that completed meiosis. Meiosis was induced in WT, rnh1Δ, rnh201Δ and rnh1Δ/rnh201Δ cells by transfer the cells to sporulation medium (SPM), and the cells were analysed at different time points (0 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h).

(B) WT, rnh1 Δ, rnh201Δ and rnh1/rnh201Δ spores were stained with DAPI at different time points during sporulation (0 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h).

(C) Spore viability in WT, rnh1Δ, rnh201Δ, and rnh1/rnh201Δ cells. The cells were induced to sporulate, and spore viability was monitored via dissection of tetrads from SPM.

(D) The spore viability of WT, rnh1 Δ, rnh201Δ and rnh1/rnh201Δcells.
