CELF2 inhibited the formation and lung metastasis of tumors in vivo. A–F CELF2 overexpression inhibited tumor formation in vivo. A and D BxPC-3 and MIA PaCa2 cells stably transfected with CELF2 overexpression plasmid or empty vector were injected in the flank of nude mice, which were sacrificed 5 weeks after injection. Then B and E tumor weight and C and F tumor volume were measured. G and H Ki-67 expression in the tumors of CELF2 overexpression and NC groups. I–L CELF2 overexpression inhibited lung metastasis in vivo. BxPC-3 and MIA PaCa2 cells stably transfected with CELF2 overexpression plasmid or empty vector were injected via the tail vein, and 5 weeks after injection the mice were sacrificed. I and J H&E staining of lung metastases. K and L Statistical analysis of the number of lung metastatic foci per section after CELF2 overexpression. CELF2 overexpression inhibited lung metastasis of PC cells. The data are expressed as mean ± SD of three replicates. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01
