Novel physiological and pathological roles of the cGAS–STING pathway in specific organs (not including cancer and some infectious diseases). With the current understanding of the mechanisms associated with the cGAS–STING pathway, researchers have gained more insight into some of the diseases caused by inflammation and have studied these diseases.
