Cancer stem cells (CSCs) tended to be enriched in CR-GC cells, instead of CS-GC cells. a Spheroid formation abilities of the GC cells were measured by using the spheroid formation assay. The expression levels of CSCs associated signatures (SOX2, OCT4 and Nanog) were determined by using the b, c Real-Time qPCR at mRNA levels and d, e Western Blot analysis at protein levels, respectively. Also, the parental CS-GC cells were subjected to continuous low-dose cisplatin pressure to induce acquired cisplatin-resistant (ACR) GC cells, and the f spheroid formation abilities and g–j the expression levels of stemness signatures (SOX2, OCT4 and Nanog) were examined.
