BMP2K suppresses megakaryopoiesis in primary mouse fetal liver cells. a Mouse fetal liver cells were transduced with Control or BMP2K overexpression retrovirus. The expression level of BMP2K mRNA was measured by quantitative RT-PCR. b–d The transduced fetal liver cells were induced to undergo megakaryocyte differentiation for 3 days. The megakaryocyte differentiation was measured by staining for CD41 (b), CD42 (c) and DNA content (d). e–h The downregulation of BMP2K and its effect on megakaryopoiesis was performed as described in (a–d).
