Scutellarin improved cell viability in H2O2-induced ARPE-19 cells. a Effect of scutellarin on cell viability of ARPE-19 cells. To evaluate the cytotoxicity of scutellarin on ARPE-19 cells, cells were treated with 0, 25, 50, 100, 200 μM scutellarin for 48 h. b Protective effect of scutellarin on H2O2-induced ARPE-19 cells. Cells were pretreated with different concentrations of scutellarin (25, 50, 100 μM) for 2 h, and then challenged with H2O2 (1 mM) for 24 h. Cell viability was detected using MTT assay. *p < 0.05 versus the control cells; #p < 0.05 versus ARPE-19 cells exposed to H2O2
