NOS2 knockout did not mitigate the proliferation inhibition of HPCs after IR. The BMCs of NOS2⁻/⁻ mice and WT mice received different doses of IR (1, 2, and 4 Gy) in vitro and were planted into the 3434 methylcellulose medium 2 h after IR.
