Effects of miR-20b on proliferation of breast cancer cells. (A) ZR-75-30 (left-panel) and MCF-7 (right-panel) breast cancer cells were transfected with miR-20b mimics and miR-20b inhibitor. MTS assays were used to detect the cell viability after the indicated periods. (B) The colony formation assays showed that upregulation of miR-20b in ZR-75-30 and MCF-7 breast cancer cells significantly enhanced their growth ability, as indicated by the increase in colony numbers.
