Decreased production of TNFα and IL-1β and reduced activation of Akt-NF-κB pathways after LPS stimulation in Appl1 KO macrophages. Peritoneal macrophages derived from peritoneal cells were stimulated with 1 μg/mL LPS at specified times and the supernant was collected for quantification of cytokine (TNFα and IL-1β) expression. The cell lysates were analyzed by western blot. (A-B) Time course of TNFα and IL-1β expression in the LPS-stimulated primary macrophages from the Appl1 KO and control mice.
