Overexpressed p53 is active and is made non-functional by HPV 18 E6 in H1299, a p53 and E6 null cell line. (A) H1299 cells were transfected with pC53-SN3 and/or HPV18 E6 plasmids and 18 h post transfection cells were treated with OA. MTT assay was performed after 48 h.
